Naphtha

Naphtha is a mixture of complex hydro carbons having characteristic odour, very similar to gasoline. It is straw coloured to colour less liquid.

A distillation product from petroleum or coal tar boiling in a certain range and containing certain hydrocarbons. It is a broad term covering the lightest and most volatile fraction of the liquid hydrocarbons in petroleum.

Application: Used as a fuel in Gas Turbine unit. Also used as feedstock for fertilizers.
