An external agency ( not related to MRPL) engaged in ground work near Thokur, accidently hit MRPL’s crude oil pipeline this evening, puncturing it.

Crude Oil started to leak.

MRPL Maintenance rushed to the spot and started work in right earnest, ducking, flushing etc.

Meanwhile Shri Ramesh Poojary of MRPL administration department who chanced to pass by jumped into the act. He simply rolled up his trousers and went to work and using his purely native intelligence and innovation, quickly stemmed the leak temporarily, saving precious crude oil and avoiding Oil spill. Maintenance Department MRPL is making the solution permanent.

Ramesh Poojary is one of our engaged employees who do not blink an eye before doing the needful, promptly.
